Redesigning Tradition

The joint project entrusted to Gate Architects and FD Architect involved the complete redesign of the historic Sanna boutique in the historic center of Nuoro, Sardinia. The client wanted to transform the interior spaces without altering the partitions but by changing the layout and arrangement of items, in line with the new customer purchasing preferences.

The project focused on the internal envelope, loose furnishings, and custom furnishings, with special attention to the color palette and combinations of geometries and textures. All carpentry furnishings and displays were designed by the design team and crafted by local artisans, as well as the curtains and textile partitions.
