Exploring Smart City Innovations: Key Insights on Connectivity, Sustainability, and Urban Planning from UFC's X Civil Engineering Week

We had the honor of participating in the roundtable “Smart cities: connecting people and impacting realities” during the X Civil Engineering Week of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), where we had the opportunity to share ideas and visions with other experts in the field.

Antonella Marzi, representing Gate Architects, alongside Agueda Muniz, Secretary of Urbanism and Environment of the City Hall of Fortaleza, and Edson Yabiku, partner at the Norman Foster firm, contributed to an engaging discussion on the crucial themes of smart cities, including connectivity, accessibility, sustainability, and innovation.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to deepen understanding of the process of ideation, planning, and management of innovative and sustainable solutions for the cities of the future. The diversity of perspectives and shared experiences enriched the dialogue, providing important insights to effectively and inclusively address urban challenges.
