A Tranquil Art Retreat
CASA MUSEO AV is a museum house that was created as a result of the owner’s desire to create a place of reflection, peace and contemplation within which to store his art collection. The house, built in a clearing, contains 32 works of art including sculptures, paintings on panels and antique furniture, located in the six main rooms of the manor house.
Classical Elegance Meets Artistic Serenity
The building reinterprets the classical style in its architectural design with dramatic effect and, like a work of art, achieves powerful emotional impact while meeting the architectural requirements of the owner. The carved stone arches, which punctuate the villa’s four façades arithmetically, have also been extended, this time through aesthetically smooth and homogeneous finishes, into the interior spaces, creating a scenic space within which the works of art take centre stage. In addition to providing natural lighting, the large windows also create a great scenic effect, fully blending in with the woodland setting that surrounds the villa, turning them into paintings of nature.
The large interior rooms are distinguished by the use of high-quality natural materials such as wood and stone, and are characterised by neutral, warm tones that leave room for colour through the works of art housed there and the furnishings.
